What to do at Osborne Dam Recreational Park
Visit Osborne Dam Recreactional Park to enjoy living to its fullest. It is one of the best places to visit in Zimbabwe and 1 of the 4 best places to visit in Nyanga and Mutasa districts of Manicaland. Located in Mutasa District, Manicaland, Osborne Dam is one of the major inland dams in Zimbabwe and the largest in Manicaland. It is on the Odzi River and covers an area of 2600 hectares. It has a carrying capacity of 400 million cubic metres and is about 6km wide, 66metres deep. Osborne Dam is an ideal holiday getaway as an individual or with family. It has a friendly weather throughout the year although winters are a little bit cool. The area has a moderate climate with an average temperature of 24 degrees Celsius.

Pack your fishing gear if you love fishing. Osborne Dam is home to a variety of fish but bass is the most popular. Bass Masters Societies view this dam as potential record catch territory. Anglers will most certainly enjoy this experience in the generally cool environs.

Mutarazi Falls
Look Deep Into Nature
With water falling for over 772 metres down, Mutarazi Falls in Mutasa District, is the highest falls in Zimbabwe. Located in the picturesque province of Manicaland, in Mutasa District it occupies 2,495 hectare in Mutarazi National Park adjacent to the southern border of the Nyanga National Park. At 772 meters (2,533 ft), it is the highest in Zimbabwe, second highest in Africa and 17th highest in the World. The Waterfalls falls into Honde Valley in two tiers, it occurs at a point where the Mtarazi river flows over the edge of the eastern escarpment of Zimbabwe’s highlands. Mutarazi Falls definately qualifies as one of the 4 best places to visit in Nyanga and Mutasa
